The country's oldest organization dedicated to preservation and advocacy of all genres of Black American music. Marian Anderson was its first scholarship recipient; Florence Price, Margaret Bonds, and William Dawson are among those supported across its century-plus history. Operates through local branches nationwide.
The National Arts Service Organization for the Canadian choral sector, representing ~45,000 affiliate singers through nine provincial choral organizations. Programs include the National Youth Choir of Canada, the biennial Podium conference (PODIUM 2026 at University of Victoria), the National Competition for Choral Writing, and the journal Anacrusis. A pay-what-you-can option is offered for those facing financial barriers.

A registered charity promoting, improving, and maintaining the education, training, and development of choral directors across all sectors — through conventions, training courses, and publications.
Formed from the 2011 merger of AGEC (f. 1955) and Europa Cantat (f. 1963). The largest European choral organization — members in 40 European and 10 non-European countries, representing ~2.5 million singers directly and reaching ~37 million indirectly. Organizes the triennial Europa Cantat Festival, EuroChoir, and co-founded the World Youth Choir.
The official choral representative on UNESCO's International Music Council, with ~900 members across all continents. Projects include the World Symposium on Choral Music (WSCM 2026, Macau), World Youth Choir, Conductors Without Borders, World Choral Day, and the quarterly International Choral Bulletin.
Formed through the merger of the Australian Choral Association and the Australian Choral Conductors Association to stimulate interest in choral music, link musicians nationwide, and nurture choral growth. Publishes Sing Out magazine, runs international conductor workshops, and supports state chapters (NSW/ACT, Vic/Tas, QLD/NT, SA, WA). Members receive discounted public liability and volunteer accident insurance through Aon. Membership runs through May 31 annually.
